Dubai Internet City

This free zone was created in the year 2000 and is a mixed use development for E commerce and Media activities. This free zone is one of the largest information technology parks.

In Middle East and North Africa this is the one of the largest Information and communications technology (ICT) hub, where MNC’s and regional companies dwell in tranquility. This prominent zone covers the vast region of Middle East, MENA and Indian Subcontinent and is comprised of the IT business sectors like software development, business services, E-Commerce, consultancy and sales and marketing.

The IT giants like Microsoft, Oracle, HP, IBM etc. have set their footings in the zone. The government bodies Dubai Technology & Media Free Zone Authority (DTMFZA) is issuing the business license, companies that are incorporated in Dubai Internet City are required to have minimum paid up capital of AED 50,000. DIC was the first free zone to develop the concept of Business Park that also provides accommodation to employees in the IT sector in Dubai.
