Ras al Khaimah Free Zones
RAK FTZ was founded in 2000 and has investments from more than 8,000 companies in over a hundred countries, representing more than 50 industry sectors. RAK FTZ provides these incentives at lower cost than free zones in other emirates. RAK FTZ has its representative office in countries like Iran, India, Turkey and Germany.
RAK FTZ is divided in four parks with facilities of offices, equipped ware houses and land facilities, the name of parks are following
RAK FTZ got access up to 2 billion consumers and achieved “Best Emerging Free Zone” that turned it to the world class business hub, the credit also goes to infrastructure and contemporary facilities provided to the investors with in a very economical expense. RAK FTZ has access to Asia, North America and Europe.
The companies accepted for operation in Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone will be granted any one of the following licenses: Industrial License, General Trading License, Commercial License, Consulting & Service License and Real Estate License.
RAK Investment Authority (RAKIA)
RAKIA is the body to attract and provide assistance to the investors from all across the globe for industrial licensing and the promotion was done in 2005 via event ‘Invest and Live in Ras Al Khaimah ’.
RAKIA brought in USD 2.5 billion alone on Industrial Investment and now it is setting up free industrial zone in Georgia. The business unit concept is brilliant idea in which each head of the business unit is master of his trade and monitor the companies of his unit and is authorized to act in favor of RAKIA if required.
